Creative Art level I (Ages 3-4)
This class is designed for the beginner level, as an introduction to creativity and fine art for children from 3 to 4 years old. Students are able to develop their understanding of colors, shapes, textures, and sizes which also helps them to practice concentration.

Creative Art level II/III (Age 4-7)
Students from 4-7 years old are at a great time to improve their artistic creativity and to learn the foundation skills and concepts of art. This class focuses on basic drawing skills and multi-material study. As the instructors guide the students with each project, besides improving technique skills, more importantly, students shall have the ability and sense to understand the aesthetic value of art in all different fields.

Clay
In this class, students will learn how to use clay to make different objects, such as animals, buildings, foods, etc. Manipulating (squishing, squeezing, pulling, pushing, etc) a piece of clay helps develop the child's large and small muscles–improving dexterity and eye-hand coordination. Builds a child's ability to focus/builds attention span.

Watercolor
This class refers to any works of art made using the medium of watercolor. Watercolor also refers to the medium, a water-soluble paint that has transparent or translucent properties.

Acrylic Painting
Acrylics feature a range of viscosities. And because they're water-based, they are easier to use and clean up than oils. All of these factors make acrylic paint a great choice for children.

Illustration (Ages 7+)
In this class, students will learn about making digital artwork by using Procreate on iPad and Wacom tablet with Clip Studio and Adobe Photoshop.

Studio Art (Ages 7+)
This is an advanced art class for students above 7 years old. Students should have a certain level of drawing skills before they take this class. In this class, students will constantly experience various materials such as colored pencils and markers. Students are required to improve line works, color matching skills, composition and proportion, 3D concepts, and perspectives. Instructors will help students find the reference and develop the original ideas for each project.

Sketching (Ages 8+)
In this class, students will learn the basics of drawing with a pencil, colored pencil, and pen. They will learn and practice to improve their observation skills with respect to shape, color, and composition and to quickly grasp the subtle details of objects. Instructors will provide one-on-one instruction based on the student's age, skills, and interests.

Fashion Design
Using different fabrics allows the students to explore the world of material. Dress-up encourages creative thinking and communication skills. It also helps kids practice language development and their social skills. Designing with another child or adult requires teamwork, cooperation, and sharing. The act of putting on and taking off costumes or outfits also has physical benefits of hand control.

Illustration Craft
Making crafts along with original illustration artwork offer students an opportunity to develop fine motor skills, boosts counting and pattern recognition, and learn about shapes and colors. It takes time to create something and it may not come out perfectly on the first try. Crafting helps kids understand that it’s okay to make a mistake and to first look for a solution rather than immediately getting frustrated.

Camp
For each season, Halona art studio will have special courses for Art & Culture camp. Students of different ages can always find the class they love. Besides regular courses, we also offer more creative sections, such as oil pastels, Chinese calligraphy, color theory, lego, music and etc. During holiday, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year, we shall start sprint ,summer and winter camp for students.

Animation
This class includes basic software instruction, character design, background design, etc. Students will learn how to draw characters in animation style and use software to make them move. Animation design allows students to learn comprehensive art skills on both the traditional side and digital sides.
